Obituary of David Hurd

Mr. David Lee Hurd, age 71 a resident of Auburndale passed away Saturday November 19, 2011 at Good Shepherd Hospice due to cancer. Mr. Hurd was born June 17, 1940 in Charlotte, N.C. to Garland P. and Nettie Mae (Ferguson) Hurd. He was an Auburndale resident for 46 years coming from Ft. Pierce, Florida. He was retired from Florida Tire Supply in Auburndale and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. David enjoyed singing in the church quartet, his Georgia mission trips and his mountain home. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister - Linda Young. David is survived by his blended loving family; Wife of 26 years: Janice Hurd of Auburndale, FL. 2 Sons: Michael Hurd & Dr. Dale Hamby of Rome, GA., Brian G. & Beth Hughes of Indian Lakes, FL. 9 Daughters: Debbie Campisi of New Port Richey, FL., Sherrie Thrasher of Ft. Pierce, FL., Michele Stayner & Tim Baker of Eagle Lake, FL., Tina & Tommy Green of Bartow, FL., Tonya & Mario Martinez of Miami, FL., Fonda & Darrell Edwards of The Woodlands, TX., Rhonda & Tim Rodgers of Lake Wales, FL., Teah & Rod White of Eldorado Springs, MO. 1 Sister: Barbara & Irving Hamrick of Ft.
