LAKELAND - Mrs. Melisse Kay Eisenman, age 46, a lifetime Polk County resident passed away Thurs., Nov. 24, 2011 at Lakeland Regional due to complications of sepsis. Mrs. Eisenman was born July 24, 1965 in Tampa, FL. She was the Activities Director for Consulate Health Care in Lakeland and was a Christian. Melisse enjoyed scrap booking, crafts and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her stepfather J.P. Smith; maternal grandfather George Marsh; & paternal grandparents. Melisse is survived by: husband of 9 years Brian Eisenman of Lakeland; son Thomas Stevenson of Lakeland; daughter Victoria Stevenson of Lakeland; stepson Chad Eisenman of Pittsburgh, PA; 2 stepdaughters: Kristen Eisenman of Lakeland, Ashley Eisenman of Pittsburgh, PA; 2 brothers: Frank (Dina) Roderus of Tampa, Eric (Candace) Jones of Auburndale; sister Dawn Haiflich of Auburndale; mother Katie Jones of Polk City; maternal grandmother Maxine Marsh of Polk City; special niece: Julie Roderus & son Dominic of Polk City; 3 grandchildren: Alexis, Cameron & Shawn. The world has lost a great lover of others. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 1st at the Auburndale Life Church, 581 Berkley Rd., Auburndale.
