Obituary of James Smith

Mr. James L. Smith 69 of Polk City passed away Tuesday due to Heart Failure. Mr Smith was born in Clanton, Alabama and had lived in this area for the past 40 years. Mr. Smith was a retired auto body repairman and attended God's Revival Center by Faith in Winter Haven. He also enjoyed playing guitar in his gospel band and writing music. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents James and Ruby Headly Smith and a sister, Allie Ruth. He survived by his wife Romona Smith of Polk City, son, Paul (Lisa) Smith of Lake Wales, 5 Daughters, Pam (Bruce) Renew of Bartow, Clara (Brian) VanBlargan of Lake Wales,, Sandra (Larry) Fancher of Lake Wales, Opal (Bruce) Smith and Lilly (Tim) Cline, both of Polk City, 2 sisters 21 Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
