Obituary of Clara Sallee

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Clara Ardena Sallee, age 68 a resident of Auburndale passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale due to cancer. Mrs. Sallee was born in Coshocton, Ohio to Mr. & Mrs. Stanton on November 28, 1943. She was a homemaker and a member of the Winter Haven Post 8 American Legion. Clara and her husband were former owners of Mom's Sports Bar and then Mom & Pop's Bar both in Auburndale. She enjoyed doing puzzles and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband and son Richard. Clara is survived by: husband of 19 years: Enver E. Sallee of Auburndale, FL, 2 sons: Ralph (Andrea) Herald of Auburndale, FL, Mark Herald of Ohio, brother: Virgil Stanton of Auburndale, FL, several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Dr., Auburndale. Interment will follow at the Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
