Obituary of Betty McPhail

Mrs. Betty J. McPhail, age 85 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Sat. 1/28 at Auburndale Oaks due to heart failure. Mrs. McPhail was born 12/8/26 in Harlan Co., KY. to Robert Ford & Delores (Strunk) Gill. She was a Winter Haven resident since 1988 coming from Jacksonville. She retired from the State of FL. as a Health Dept. Clerk. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Haines City, member of the church women's relief society, volunteered in the churhes genealogy library and enjoyed sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - George & sister - Margaret. Betty is survived by; 2 Sons: Thomas D. (Sondra) McPhail of Auburndale, David R. (Charla) McPhail of Salt Lake City, UT. 7 Grandchildren: Brian, Grant, Eileen, Lydia, Matthew, Adam & Andrew. 3 Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Logan & Jacob. Private interment will be held.
