Obituary of Velma Christian
Mrs. Velma "Jean" Christian, age 83 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at her residence due to COPD. Mrs. Christian was born January 28, 1929 in Lake Wales, Florida to Ralph and Mildred (Craton) Collier. She was a lifetime Polk County resident and a member of the First Baptist Church of Jesus Christ in Winter Haven. She retired as a housekeeper with the Polk County School Board working at Ridge VO-Tech. Jean enjoyed gardening and loved being with her family.
