Dear Harvey,
Thank you for all the good you have done for the people that worked for you. The morning you passed was a somber morning for everyone who ever worked for you. The stories of how you helped your employees prosper where unbelievable. It is a shame you hear these things when one passes. I alway's said you were the best boss I ever had and that was the truth. I went to see Hazel this afternoon and I wish I could have seen you too. Rest in peace good man, rest in peace.

I knew Harvey back in 1963-64 when he was stationed at Dow Air force base in Bangor Maine. I introduced him to this young girl friend of mine named Hazel they clicked right off and as we all know married. I lost contact with both of them until a class reunion took place in Maine several years ago. Harvey( Ruby who I knew him by)and I have been FB/ e-mail friends since then. I will miss his notes and pictures of his family and friends. Hazel and family I will be thinking of you tomorrow on this very sad day.

To Honor Harvey Allen Rubinson
I want to take this opportunity to honor Harvey. When I first met Harvey I was at the end of my rope. My husband was laid up with a back injury and could not work, and I was a Realtor in Inverness, Florida with many listings but no sales. My husband and I were accepting food from our local church, and we had enough money left in our account to pay one more house payment and one more car payment. It was under these circumstances that I came to Westgate to apply for a job. Harvey offered me that life line, and it changed our lives forever.
Harvey was always fair, and his door was always open. He looked tough, but if you looked closely, you would notice the twinkle in his eyes. He listened and always treated his employees with respect. Without a doubt, he was the best boss I have ever worked with. By giving me the opportunity to work at Westgate, the lives of both my husband and I have been changed forever. When I was diagnosed with cancer, the insurance I have through Westgate made my surgery and recovery possible. When my husband and I were in a car accident, the Westgate Foundation came to our rescue and paid for the rental car we needed. In the twelve years I have been at Westgate, I have formed friendships that will last a lifetime and a career that fulfills me. Without Harvey giving me this opportunity, my husband and I would not have the life we now are so grateful for.
Harvey Rubinson was a special human being who had the ability to change the lives of the people he touched. I will always remember him with fondness, love, and a grateful heart.
To Havey?s family members: I hope it eases your grief to know how your dearly beloved Harvey impacted so many lives and made them better. As a former team member of the Owner Quality Assurance department, Westgate Resorts Corporate Office, Ocoee, Florida, I honor his life and his positive contribution to my life. May the peace of God be with you on this day of remembrance.

Dear Hazel, Diane, Lisa and All Family members,
My Sympathy, Heart and Thoughts go out to each and every one of you!
I had the Honor of working for Harvey back in 2002 for a few years in the Asset Recovery dept. at Westgate Resorts. He was one of the Best Bosses I ever had the Privilege, and Honor to work for! His door was always open if you needed to discuss anything. Harvey was always a very fair boss. He had so much compassion for people, and made coming to work for him happy to be there. Once a month he held Town Hall meetings where he honored back his employees who went above and beyond doing their best at the job.
I will never for him, and for how he helped me to grow in my job at Westgate Resorts.
Harvey you may be gone from us on earth, but will never be forgotten. Thank you for all you did for me.
May God Bless you in Heaven!
Victoria Graver
