Obituary of Genevieve Gardner

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Genevieve Gardner, 77 of Auburndale passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her home due to cancer. Mrs. Gardner was born in Williston, FL. and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mrs. Gardner was a homemaker and attended Old Dixie Highway Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her sons, Wayne & Bo Gardner. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lynwood Gardner, 2 brothers, Andrew Dias and Ernest Dias, a sister, Gail Haggard, brother in law, Steve Gardner, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Thursday at 3 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale with visitation taking place from 2 to 3. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
