Obituary of William Kohler

Mr. William "Bill" R. Kohler, Sr., age 82 a resident of Polk City passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to Cancer. Mr. Kohler was born December 25, 1929 in Wainwright, Ohio to Jacob and Rita Angelina (Varalli) Kohler. Bill was a resident for over 30 years and of the Catholic Faith. He was a 20 year United States Navy Veteran serving on an Aircraft Carrier during Vietnam, Korea and the Bay of Pigs. He was a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 123 for 23 years, also working for the City of Auburndale for 10 years and was a League Bowler at Orange Bowl Lanes where he had many treasured friends. Bill enjoyed fishing, joking, back seat driver for his wife and loved his family & friends. At Bill's request there are no services.
