Obituary of Linda Susan Lyerla

Linda Susan Lyerla passed away on April 5, 2024 at her home in Auburndale, FL. from natural causes.  Linda Susan Finley was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on October 3, 1949.  She moved to Florida in 1986.  She was the first born child of Mr and Mrs. Thomas and Dorothy Finley which both served in the United States Army and were very active in the American Legion, and was raised by a very talented family.

Linda graduated from an all girls Catholic School called, Saint Teresa Academey in 1967.  Linda worked in the hospitality industry.  She was a very quiet and kind soul.  She never complained about her circumstances and always wanted everyone in the family to get along.  Linda enjoyed drinking coffee with family and friends and was known for her good ole sweet tea.  She always said, "Love Ya" after every conversation.

Linda is survived by her children; Michael, Dina, Preston, Kenny and Penny MCCord; 14 grandchildren, Sierra, Keith, Nicole, Christina, Thomas, Gavin, Kylie, Faith, Kaleb, Lucas, Saige, Haven, Summer and Darth; 3 great grandchildren; Rosemary, Jax and Mason; 3 siblings, Kathleen, Cindy and Angie.  She also leaves to cherish her memory, many nieces and nephews.

She's preceded in death by her mother Dorothy, father Thomas, brother Tommy, sister Janet and son Nicholas.

A special thanks to her sister Kathleen Soto and Jasmine Vasques for being there with Linda for extra support when needed. Also, a special thanks to her niece Anna and her family for spending lots of quality time with Linda and making lots of great memories, and for Anna always making hair and makeup beautiful.
