Obituary of Jimmy Dulaney Brown

Mr. Jimmy Dulaney Brown, age 76 a resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale surrounded by his family. Mr. Brown was born August 10, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida to James Truman and Blanche Brown. Jimmy was a Polk County resident since 1979 coming from Orlando. He attended Crestview Baptist Church in Lakeland and was the Owner/Operator for the Industrial Business Park Industry. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years, boating and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother – Pete and sister – Jackie. Jimmy is survived by his 2 sons – Robert Brown and his wife Amy and James Brown and his wife Jessica both of Auburndale, Florida; 3 grandchildren – Meriah, Riley & Emmett. A memorial service will be held 10am Wednesday, February 21^st at Kersey Funeral Home with a gathering beginning 9am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request’s donations to; Good Shepherd Hospice, 450 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, Florida  33823.
