Obituary of Frederick Howard Rhoda

Frederick Howard Rhoda Jr., 64, of Auburndale, Florida passed away February 2, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice Auburndale, Florida. He was born on January 24, 1960, in Dade City, Florida to Frederick Howard Rhoda Sr. and Mildred Viola (Wilkinson) Rhoda. Frederick was the business owner of Rhoda's Rentals located in Auburndale, Fl. for 26 years. He loved to travel to new places, going to yard sales and antique shopping with his family, having family reunions at the family camp in Maine every summer, and having family dinners for all holidays and birthdays. Frederick also loved his family and being around people, he loved laughing, talking, and going to Publix. He raised his two sons and daughter and helped them see the world. The funniest memory of Frederick is the jet ski adventure with his nephew Larry. Our dad was such a people person. He always loved to go; he could never sit still. He loved every second that he could be around his family. He truly was the best dad and we all will miss him dearly. Frederick is survived by his loving wife Patricia Ann Rhoda, Auburndale, Fl., daughter Candace Viola Jewel Rhoda Whitney, (Devin) Millinocket, ME., sons, Anthony William Alonso, (Michelle) Kissimmee, Fl., Dustin Coleman Reed, Lakeland, Fl., nephews, Larry Griffin, Le Roy, IL., and Gary Griffin, West Palm Beach, Fl., brother- in- law, Earl Griffin, Le Roy, IL. and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Frederick Howard Rhoda Sr., Zephyrhills, Fl., mother, Mildred Viola Rhoda, Zephyrhills, Fl., and sister, Betty Griffin, Zephyrhills, Fl., The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2nd, from 10AM - 11AM. Funeral services will be Held at 11AM at Kersey Funeral Home with Tony Alonso officiating. The family is asking everyone to please wear purple to the service if you can, as it was Frederick's favorite color. Interment will be at Floral Memory Gardens, Dade City, Fl.
