Obituary of Patricia Lynn Marks

Patricia Lynn Marks also known as Patricia Reynolds Marks. She went by the nicknames of Pat and Patcheann, departed on January 18, 2024. She was born April 2, 1957, in Dallas Texas, she was 66 years old.

Patricia was raised & lived a full life within the Atlanta, GA area: Stone Mountain, Roswell, Alpharetta, and Johns Creek. She moved to Auburndale, FL in 2021, with eventual plans to move to Tampa, FL. after new home construction in 2024-2025. The move to FL was due to retirement and a better lifestyle. The Covid era allowed Patricia's daughter Sara Evelyn Marks to work remotely, and the FL medical marijuana program for Sara's epilepsy, which developed in 2020.

Patricia was married to Henry Sebastian Marks, father of Sara Evelyn Marks, he was born January 20th, 1935, and passed away at age 87 in 2022. Patricia attended Roosevelt High School, in Atlanta GA. After graduating high school, she obtained several jobs during her life such as, the Vice President of Finance and Human Resources at MarkeTeam from 2007 to 2021, Controller at Gifford, Hillegass & Ingwersen: 2005-2007, Controller at Williams Benator & Libby, LLP from June-December 2004, Vice President & Director of Accounting & Human Resources at Balser Companies 1987-2003, and she Studied Accountancy at Oglethorpe University – Bachelor of Business Administration: Class of 2001.

Patricia is survived by her only child, daughter Sara Evelyn Marks, born August 18th, 1992, she is 31 years old, sisters, Sheila Reynolds, Lisa Reynolds, and Brenda Holliway. Brother Mark Reynolds, and her dogs Turbo, Queen, and Bear.

She is Preceded in death by her father, Olin E Reynolds, mother Mary E Reynolds, dogs Peaches, Sissy, and Taffy and her cat Coco.

What family will remember the most about Patricia is her unconditional love, kindness and gentleness, her strength, her brilliant brain, her unmatched unique, hilarious and very special down-to-earth personality. Patricia's hobbies & Interests were spending all her time with her daughter, Sara Evelyn Marks. Watching Sara play soccer, reading books, listening to music, working, watching TV shows and movies. She also loved exploring and traveling, riding bikes, going on walks & runs, hiking, having a glass of wine, nature, jewelry, antiquing, watching sports, shopping, games, cuddling with her dog Turbo, and Sara’s dogs – Queen & Bear. She loved exercising, comedy, enjoying delicious food and trying new restaurants, the beach, amusement parks, festivals, and concerts.

Patricia's greatest achievement was being the best human of mankind and ultimate mother to Sara Evelyn Marks. Patricia will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service has not been scheduled at this time.
