Obituary of Carol Gay Ryan

Ms. Carol Gay Ryan, age 54, a resident of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. Ms. Ryan was born February 19, 1969 in Monroe, Louisiana to Jesse and Jeanice Marie (Weatherford) Conley. She was a Winter Haven resident since 2004 coming from Monroe. Carol was a State Farm Claims Adjuster with 20 years of service. She enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother – James Woods. Carol is survived by her loving family, 2 sons – Henry “Hank” Ryan and wife Kayla of Starks, Louisiana & Andrew “Andy” Ryan and wife Megan of West Monroe, Louisiana; daughter – Samantha Rawls and husband Peyton of Monroe, Louisiana; 2 brothers – Wayne Woods and wife Jessie of Duncan, Oklahoma & Eddie Woods and wife Patty of Bristow, Oklahoma; 2 sisters – Charlotte Williams of Hebert, Louisiana & June Scott of Duncan, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren – Emma, Charleigh, Mac & Tripp. There are no services scheduled for Ms. Ryan.
