Jefferson W. Brock, of Davenport, Florida died Wednesday evening, November 29, 2023. Jeff was born in Florala, Alabama on January 28, 1959. He was the son of the late Gloria June Brock and Joe Edward Brock. Jeff lived a life of service to others. He joined the U.S. Army in April 1978 and served in the Infantry, in the 82nd Airborne, as an Army Ranger, and ended his 10 years of service as a Drill Sergeant paving the way for future soldiers. After his honorable discharge, he achieved his life-long dream and following in his father’s footsteps, he became a Florida Highway Patrolman where he served the State of Florida for over 30 years.

In retirement he continued to serve the Highway Patrol as a contractor, he took joy in his garden, his family, friends, and his pets. He continued to serve his community and the Lord. He was an active and long-standing member of Westwood Missionary Baptist Church of Winter Haven.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Bobi Jo, whom he wed October 17, 2020. His children, Rachel and Jessica Brock and grandson, Isaiah Mekhi Brock. His siblings; Tommie Joe Brock (Robin), Rhonda June Lindley (Wade), James Karl Brock (Sherri), Clifford Burg Jr. (Leilani), Julie Lynn Burg, Stacy Joy Allcorn (Lee), and Elizabeth Ann Evans (Bryan). His bonus mother, Carolyn Brock. And his bonus children and grandchildren; Joyce Caudill, Brad William Crotts, Ryan William Crotts (Danielle), Strauss Yawney, Austin Yawney, Hannah Caudill, Aviana Colon, Isabella Emmanuilidis, Mia Caudill, Ryla Crotts, Jeffrey Howard, and Bodhi Bucaria-Crotts. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Debbie Clara Brock and his brothers, Joey Edward Brock, Jr. and John Kervin Brock.

Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2023, at Westwood Missionary Baptist Church, (3210 Ave G NW Winter Haven, Florida 33880). Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Walter Lanier presiding over this celebration of life. Livestreaming will be available via www.westwoodmbc.org
