Obituary of Lawrence Lee Lewis

Mr. Lawrence Lee "Larry" Lewis Jr., age 64, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Winter Haven Hospital. Mr. Lewis was born on August 20, 1959, in Lakeland, Florida to Lawrence Lee and Glenn Anna Lewis, Sr. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, retiring after 20 years. Larry also worked for the Saddle Creek Corporation for 15 years and later established his own business named Pokeys Pressure Washing until his retirement. Larry enjoyed BBQs, boating, fishing and spending time with his family. Larry is survived by his loving family; sons, Lawrence Lee (Kari) Lewis, III and Dylan (Lily) Lewis of Iowa; daughters, Vanessa (Alexander) Wyman of Winter Haven, Florida and Deborah Lynn (Chad) Ingram of Lake Wales, Florida; sister, Elizabeth Lanford of Alturas, Florida; and former spouse, Sylvia Frieda Lewis of Eagle Lake, Florida. Larry leaves to cherish his memory, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 4th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Cemetery.
