Obituary of Steven "Rocky" Jordan

Mr. Steven “Rocky” Jordan, age 53, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Winter Haven Hospital surrounded by family. Mr. Jordan was born April 16, 1970 in Winter Haven, Florida to Stanley Lawrence and Wanda Joyce (Moses) Jordan. He was a lifetime Polk County resident and graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1989. Rocky was a Licensed Electrician for Commercial Construction and a Truck Driver for Prime Trucking. He attended Victory Christian Church in Lakeland and Abundant Life Ministries International in Winter Haven. He enjoyed playing the guitar, drums and rocking out with his garage band. He had an infectious laugh, smile and personality. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mom – Wanda “Joyce” Flynn; dad – Stanley Lawrence Jordan; stepfather – Robert “Bob” Flynn; paternal & maternal grandparents and Aunt Carolyn. Rocky is survived by his family, daughter – Chandler (Dustin) Fox of Auburndale, Florida; son – Zackery Jordan of Mulberry, Florida; 2 brothers – Billy Ray (Erin) Turner of Polk City, Florida and Kenneth Allen Turner of Winter Haven, Florida; sister – Karen “BB” (Roy) Olive of Winter Haven, Florida; 2 grandsons – Tucker & Gunner; com. panion – Felicia Ackerman of Winter Haven, Florida; 3 nephews – Bobby, Dusty & Justin; 2 nieces – Kari & Kara; 2 great grandnieces – Kayle & Kayla. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Friday, September 22^nd at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
