Obituary of Albert Junior Mincey

Mr. Albert Junior Mincey, age 66 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale surrounded by his family. Mr. Mincey was born August 10, 1957 in Winter Haven, Florida to Albert and Mildred Lee (Black) Mincey, Sr. He graduated from Auburndale High School and was a Supervisor/Foreman for Gapway Groves for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, socializing with family & friends, music and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father and wife – Sherrie Mincey. Albert is survived by his loving family, son – Albert (Anna) Mincey Bartow, Florida; daughter – Michelle Mincey Goodwin of Auburndale, Florida; his mother – Mildred Mincey of Auburndale, Florida; brother – Rick (Diana) Mincey of Auburndale, Florida; sister – Jeanell (Mike) Pruitt of Auburndale, Florida and 3 granddaughters – Kayla, Elizabeth & Samantha. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, August 22^nd at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
