Obituary of Sara An Cabello

Sara An Cabello, age 39 years young, passed away unexpectedly August 12, 2023.

Sara leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her mother, Janice (David “Her Poppa”), her siblings, and their children. Her brother Joshua (Shenia), their children, Joshua Jr, Darien, Landon & Elijah; her sister Riana and children, Tre, Chanden, Gabriel; her brother Chris (Heather), their children, Payton, Kaleah, Parker, Carter, Kohen & Drake; her sister Katie, son Levi. Mother to none but the greatest Auntie of all times. #GOAT! Her love for her adoring nephews & nieces is an entire legacy that spans generations. In addition to all of these broken hearts, Sara has also left behind Lara & Amber, her lifetime buddies.

In her spare time Sara loved playing the High stax poker circuit with friends and families.

A veteran of the US Army (2003), Sara recently graduated with her Business Technologies master's degree (2023). A long-time employee of Publix, Sara started as a cashier and climbed the ladder eventually earning a role in Information Service at Publix Headquarters. Her greatest achievements included being the glue keeping her siblings, her only niece, nephews, extended family of counts, aunts, and uncles, and friends together over the miles and years as well as driving the dragon trail.

A celebration of Sara’s life will be held on August 26 at 3pm at New Covenant Church of Atlanta.
