Obituary of Flora Jane Farmer

Flora Jane (Janie) Farmer, age 80, from Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on July 27, 2023. Born on April 8, 1943, in Brooksville, Florida, to the late, J.T. and Addie Whitehead.

Janie loved to paint, crochet, dance and go to the beach. She most enjoyed keeping in touch with friends and out-of-state family as well as spending time with her local family. Janie will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Janie is survived by her loving son, Jim (Janet) Farmer; Grandsons - Brent (Kathyrn) Farmer, and Steven Farmer; Granddaughters - Cassie (Jake) Pavy, Jenny (Johnathan) Adcock, and Amanda Walker; Great-Grandchildren - Reuben, Josiah, Sienna, Aubrey, Alexis and Kaeden Farmer, Will, Rylee and Owen Pavy, Zander and Scarlett Adcock, Shaylee Sines, and Bristol Walker. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband - James W. Farmer; Son - Matthew Farmer; and Brother - Billy Joe Whitehead.

Funeral services for Flora Jane Farmer will be held at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale, Florida, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The family will greet friends beginning at 9am in the chapel. Interment will follow in Auburndale Memorial Park.
