Obituary of Jimmy Lynn Durden

Mr. Jimmy Lynn Durden, age 64, a resident of Auburndale passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Lakeland Regional surrounded by family. Mr. Durden was born July 6, 1959 in Bartow, Florida to Myrtle Christine Durden. He was a lifetime Polk County resident and a member of Legacy Community Church in Auburndale. Jimmy was the Owner/Operator of Irrigation Services of Central Florida, Durden Family Enterprises and Central Florida Blueberries all of Auburndale. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and son – Phillip Craig Durden in 2011. Jimmy is survived by his loving & devoted family, wife of 41 years – Brenda Durden; 3 sons – Randall (Lindsey) Durden, Michael (Kristi) Durden and Brian (Christa) Durden; 3 brothers – Don (Tammy) Smith, Derald (Shelia) Smith and Gerald (Brenda) Smith; 2 sisters – Betty Smith and Donna Smith; 11 grandchildren – Jack, Emma, Chloe, Sayler, Jonah, Easton, Landree, Maury, Jaxson, Phillip and Sophie. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, August 1^st at Legacy Community Church, 201 Dickey Rd., Auburndale with a gathering beginning at 10 am at the church. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park
