Obituary of Daisy Bell Martinez

Mrs. Daisy Bell Martinez, age 79, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at Advent Health Lake Wales Hospital Hospice Unit surrounded by her family. Mrs. Martinez was born May 10, 1944 in Arab, Alabama to Melvie Smith. Daisy was a resident of Auburndale since 1962 coming from Alabama and a homemaker. She was a member of Dundee Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching boats on the lake, traveling in the car and spending time with family. Daisy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother to all. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers – Herbert & Hubert and sister – Sarah. Daisy is survived by her family, 2 sons – Ernie Davis and James Davis both of Auburndale, Florida; daughter – Virginia Davis of Winter Haven, Florida; brother – Robert Smith of Auburndale, Florida; 8 grandchildren – Lisa, Victoria, Joann, Joe, Henry, Deanna, Angela & George; 16 great grandchildren; many stepchildren, step grandchildren & step great grandchildren. There are no services scheduled for Mrs. Martinez.
