Seen within the clouds among the other children the Lord has called upon, Air Pods in his ears, a smile on his face, and laughter to be heard all around Him, Derbin Manuel Huertas at the age of 15 gained his wings on Thursday June 15th, 2023. Derbin was born on August 20th, 2007, in Louisville, Kentucky and lived in Auburndale, Florida with his parents and siblings. Derbin enjoyed video games, debating, pulling pranks, and watching YouTube & Tik Tok videos. He loved seafood, steak, anime, Lilly our family dog, all things spicy, and all his family. Derbin attended Auburndale High School and was scheduled to start the 11th grade.

He is preceded in death by his Abuela Jaunita Otero, Abuelo Jose Huertas, and Tio Alex Huertas.

Derbin leaves behind cherished memories with his mother, Ana Brownell Huertas, and father, Derbin Huertas; His siblings, Mathew Brownell, Samantha Brownell, and Marcos Huertas; and many tias, tios, primos, and special friends.
