Obituary for Ronald Rupert George

Ronald Rupert George, age 87, of Auburndale, Florida entered into rest on Saturday, June 17th, 2023. Ron was born April 7th, 1936, in Montpelier, Vermont, the son of Rupert Matthew George and Glenna Kathleen George.

Ron was a veteran of the United States National Guard. He spent the majority of his working career as a superintendent managing and maintaining corrugators for corrugated box plants. He was formerly a member of the Winter Haven Moose Lodge and loved spending time with family, watching sports, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Myra Evelyn George, his mother Glenna and father Rupert, also his 2 grandchildren Brian and Melinda Brewer. He is survived by his children; Crystal Brewer, Craig George (Peggy), Cheryl Harmeling, Debra Gallison (David), John Bozeman (Suzy), Rhonda Hagood (Randy), Valerie Adkinson (Chad), 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Ron greatly valued his family and made helping his family members top priority in his life. He was a selfless man that always put others needs above his own. He will be loved and missed by many.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 10 am Kersey Funeral Home 108 Lake Stella Dr, Auburndale, FL 33823.
