Obituary for Wilburn Virgil Finley, Sr.

Wilburn Virgil Finley Sr. ,  78 , of Polk City , Florida  passed away June 16, 2023  at Good Shepherd Forsythe Hospice House  Auburndale , Florida . He was born on November 10, 1944  in Pahokee , Florida  to Thomas  and Pearl  (Wingfield ) Finley.  Wilburn was a retired produce salesman in Auburndale, Florida.  He enjoyed watching Nascar and all sports especially the Florida Gators.  He loved spending time with family on the front porch.

Wilburn  is survived by: 3 sons, Willie Finley (Corina), Tommy Finley (Kimberly), and Doug Finley (Stephanie).  He also leaves to cherish his memory, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wives, Dixie L. Finley (1992) and Barbara Finley (2021); and sister Naomi Walker.
Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
