Obituary for Craig Alan Magedanz

Craig Alan Magedanz, 57, of Auburndale, Florida passed away June 12, 2023, at Good Shepherd Hospice Auburndale, Fl., He was born on June 27, 1965, in Anoka, Minnesota to Myron Magedanz and Darlene (Barenz) Magedanz.

Craig Magedanz worked in the Publix supermarket as an assistant bakery manager for 38 years. He loved Indy cars, racing corvettes, and fishing. His greatest achievement was marrying the love of his life, Alberta, and starting a family. If you knew Craig, then you knew he was never one to give up easily in anything he did. Craig also loved spending holidays with his family. The love for his family was genuine. He cared deeply for them and wanted to keep them safe. A funny memory we have is when he drove extremely slowly when taking his wife and kids home from the hospital after she gave birth.

Craig is survived by his lovely wife of many years Alberta Magedanz, Auburndale, Fl., son Aaron Magedanz, Auburndale, Fl., daughter Chantel Magedanz, Auburndale, Fl., stepmother Judy Magedanz , stepfather Val Blatny, Brandon, Fl., brother Terry Magedanz, Bradenton, Fl.,

He was preceded in death by both parents, Mother Darlene Barenz and Father Myron Magedanz, and Grandmother Gladys Magedanz.

The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on June 20th from 1PM - 2PM _ Funeral services will be at 2PM on Tuesday June 20th at Kersey Funeral Home with Bud Porter officiating. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
