Obituary for Samuel Arthur Powell Samuel Arthur Powell , 75 , of Auburndale , Florida passed away June 10, 2023 at Winter Haven Hospital Winter Haven , Florida . He was born on April 14, 1948 in Lakeland , Florida to Samuel and Pansy (Tillery) Powell. He was a retired Contractor in the Construction Industry. Sammy loved playing the guitar and banjo. He also was an avid fisherman in his younger days, and loved spending time with his family. Samuel is survived by: his niece Susan Burton (Steve) of Auburndale, Florida; their children, Aubrie Gilley (Alex), Allie Teel (Jameson), and Jeremiah Burton; great niece, Shannon Shores; her children Sarah, Rebekah, and Hannah. He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister Carol Francis and brother Jimmy Powell. The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on June 17, 2023 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on June 17, 2023 at Kersey Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Burton officiating.
