Obituary of Stanley Anton Cierach Jr

Mr. Stanley Anton Cierach, Jr. age 78 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Life Care Center of Winter Haven. Mr. Cierach was born August 23, 1944 in Greenport, New York to Stanley Anton and Anna (Haleski) Cierach, Sr. Stanley and his wife have been Auburndale residents since 2000 coming from Southold, Long Island, New York. He served in the United States National Guard from 1964 thru 1970. He was a retired Branch Manager in the Banking Industry for over 30 years and a former Coca Cola employee for over 12 years. Stanley was a member of the Lions Club of Mattituck, New York, attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winter Haven, Florida and a volunteer Fireman for Southold, Long Island, New York. He enjoyed coaching little league, playing golf, gardening, traveling, polka dancing & music and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister – Denise Cierach. Stanley is survived by his loving family, wife of 52 years – Linda Cierach of Auburndale, Florida; 2 daughters – Deborah Lentz and husband Stephen of Mastic, New York and Diana Cross and husband Ed of Lake Mary, Florida; son – Stanley A. Cierach, III and wife Meghan of Orlando, Florida; sister – Patricia Hamill and husband Dennis of Riverhead, New York; 6 grandchildren – Stephen, Victoria, Joseph, Abigail, Ryan and Kaiden. Visitation will be held Friday, January 6^th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 7^th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 532 Avenue M, NW, Winter Haven. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Auburndale Memorial Park.
