Obituary of Linda Ann Jester

Mrs. Linda A. Jester, age 77 a resident of Tavares, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Mike Conley Hospice House surrounded by her family. Mrs. Jester was born February 16, 1945 in Honoraville, Alabama to Harvey Lee and Avis Elain (Raybon) Davis. She was a resident of the Polk County area for over 70 years coming from Alabama. Linda graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1964. She was a retired Caregiver in the Home Health Care Industry, past member of Life & Praise Church, the Church Choir and the Church Nursing Home Ministry. She enjoyed singing, crosswords, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, son – Timothy LaVon Jester in 1988; 6 brothers – Keith, Allen, Donald, Toll, John & Baby Davis. Linda is survived by her loving family, 2 daughters – Tina Starling of Tavares and Teresa Jernigan of Auburndale; 3 sisters – Shelbie Johnson, Loretta (Michael) Anderson and Janice Ramirez all of Auburndale; 4 grandchildren – Timothy Jester, II, Ambre Garner, Tierra Sweeney & Dacota (Lindsey) Jernigan and 3 great grandchildren – Adriel, Rosie & Landyn. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, November 22nd at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10am. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
