Laveda Rose Stevens, 65, of Lakeland, Florida passed away June 7, 2022 at home. She was born on September 24,1956 in Trenton, New Jersey to Staff Sgt. William Isaac and Bernice Iberea (Swan ) Stevens.

She was a former receptionist in the medical industry. Laveda loved shopping and gardening.

Laveda is survived by: 2 sisters; Ava Brooks of Fort Washington, Maryland, Pastor Shannon Lauret Hilliard of Winter Haven, Florida; Nieces and Nephews: Andre J. Teague of Bowie, MD; Denean J. Neal-Vinson of Philadelphia, PA; Chico Kirkpatrick of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; David Cuddle of Upper Marboro, MD; Maxie Stevens of Washington, DC; Aisha M. (Brown) Beasley (Mark) of Anarunda, MD; Keith A. Brown (Jennifer) of Cibilo, TX; Katrina R. Overstreet (Dayon Miller) of Indianapolis, IN; Tenneille A. Sanders of Bartow, FL; JoNathan Hilliard (Teresa) of Winter Haven, FL; Keilah A. Hilliard of Winter Haven, FL; and Kristen L. (Hilliard) Hathcock of Winter Haven, FL, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; son: Jason Numer Roberts; sisters: Janet E. Kirkpatrick; Doreatha I. (Stevens) Brown; Alicia J. (Stevens) Sanders; nephew: Joshua I. Brown.

The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on June 25, 2022 from 10:00AM - 11:00AM. Memorial services will be at 11AM with Pastor Shannon L. Hilliard officiating.
