Obituary of Kelley Kathleen Rowlett

Kelley Kathleen Rowlett, age 60, devoted Sister, Mother and Grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at Good Shepherd Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Kelley was born on July 8th, 1961 and was a lifelong resident of the Winter Haven, FL area. She was preceded in passing by her parents Kathleen and Edward Wiles. Kelley is survived by her daughter Caitlin Capps (Daniel Jones) and their children Levi and McKenna, as well as, her son Collin Rowlett, (Stephanie Rowlett) and their children Kaden, Michael, and Devin. Kelley has four surviving siblings Shannon Wiles, Erin Eastwood, Sean Wiles and Patrick Wiles and will be deeply missed by them and their families. Kelley was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she helped with the Guild Society, as well as the Religious Articles shop. Secure in her faith Kelley fought to live her life with the patience and understanding taught by the church. She was an accountant for the Polk County School Board's food service division for 38 years. To Kelley music was second to breathing and her eclectic taste ran from the Rolling Stones to Josh Groban and back to Jimmy Buffet, she loved every note. She was an avid reader and at home in any library. Kelley was "Gram" and there is no one like Gram, her grandchildren were the highlight of her life and she made sure they knew it. She was present and having her for a mother was truly the greatest gift my brother and I could have been given. Kelley's quiet wisdom and support influenced everyone in her life and will leave a lasting imprint. Services will be held on Friday, June 10th, 2022 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (in the Chapel) 532 Ave M NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881.
