Obituary of JoAnn K. Pope

Mrs. JoAnn K. Pope, age 77, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Pope was born August 30, 1944 in Bartow, Florida to Marshall Leroy and Iva Sue (Staggs) Kelley. She was a lifetime Polk County resident and graduated with Auburndale High School. JoAnn and her husband were the Owners/Operators of Eddie Pope Trucking in Auburndale. JoAnn enjoyed camping, gardening, traveling, collecting roosters, her dog and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter – Stephanie Ingram. JoAnn is survived by her loving & devoted family, husband of 62 years – Eddie Pope of Auburndale, Florida; son – Eddie Levon Pope and his wife Wanda of Babson Park, Florida; daughter – Lisa Lynn Ingram and her husband Jeff of Ocoee, Florida; sister – Diane Slaten and her husband Randy of Auburndale, Florida; 4 grandchildren – Mark, Cory, Jessica & Tyler; 4 great grandchildren – MaKinnley, Maddie, Jonah & Jeremiah and aunts, uncles, cousins (Patty, Diane, Lee, Tonya, Terri, Bill, Carl, Jr. & Debbie) and many extended family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 8th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
