Obituary of Basilio Gonzales Jr

Basilio "Papa" "Silio" Gonzales Jr., of Frostproof, Florida, gained his Angel Wings on February 28, 2022.  He was 22 years old. 

Basilio Jr. was born on January 16, 2000, in Winter Haven, Florida to Basilio and Cindy Gonzales.  He graduated from Frostproof High School in 2019, and believed in the Catholic Faith. Basilio Jr. liked fast cars, music, dancing, spending time with family and friends, playing video games, and just enjoying life to the fullest! His smile could light up any room. He loved his family dearly and was adored and loved by many. 

Basilio Jr. is survived by: his Father Basilio Gonzales, his Mother Cindy Gonzales, his younger Brother Richard Gonzales, his Grandparents Louis Jr. and Alicia Gonzales, and Donna Barrera, his Aunts and Uncles Joanne Johnson, Sandra Olivo, Felipe Barrera, Martin and Sarah Avellaneda, Louis III and Vicky Gonzales and Manuel Gonzales, and numerous cousins. 

He was preceded in death by: his Uncles Lucas Barrera and Ruben Gonzales. 

The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on March 8, 2022,  from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.  Funeral services will be at 1:00PM on March 9, 2022, at Kersey Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fort Meade, Florida.
