Obituary of Phyllis Marie Hamann

Mrs. Phyllis Marie Hamann, age 88 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Winter haven Hospital surrounded by family. Mrs. Hamann was born April 15, 1933 in Glen Haven, Wisconsin to Russell and Dorothy (Edwards) Schreiner. She was a Switchboard Operator for Cypress Gardens retiring after 25 years. Phyllis was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. She enjoyed going to the Moose Lodge, fishing, the outdoors, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Orland Hamann; sister and brother in law. Phyllis is survived by her loving family, 2 sons – Richard Hamann of Auburndale, Florida and Larry (Mary) Hamann of Lake Alfred, Florida; 3 grandchildren – LaShonda (Jamie) Kirkland of McKinney, Texas, Sarah Hamann of Lake Alfred, Florida and Daniel Hamann of Lake Alfred, Florida; 3 great grandchildren – Bree Kirkland, Brayden Kirkland and Travis Thornton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 11th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.
