Obituary of Joseph Eugene Biles

Mr. Joseph Eugene Biles, age 91 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Palm Garden in Winter Haven.  Mr. Biles was born March 20, 1930 in Plant City, Florida to Joe C. and Beatrice (Moree) Biles.  He was a resident of Auburndale since the 1950's coming from Plant City.  Joseph was a Carpenter in the Construction Industry and a United States Army Veteran where he was an airplane mechanic. He was a member of Gateway Assembly of God Church in Auburndale and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, movies, camping, hiking, cooking, traveling, watching his children play music, and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and son Kenneth Biles.  Joseph is survived by his loving family, wife of 72 years - Rozell Biles of Auburndale; son - Michael Biles and his wife Joy of Lakeland; daughter in law - Teresa of Tennessee; daughter - Carolyn Loucks and her husband Ronald of Auburndale; brother - Bill Whitcomb of Lakeland; sister - Juanita Whitcomb of Lakeland; 4 grandchildren - Sonya, Jeremy, Jason & Joshua and 8 great grandchildren - Angela, Victoria, Jude, Jacob, Makenzie, Delaney, Gage, and Raelynn.  An inurnment service will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.  A celebration of life service will be held on October 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Gateway Assembly of God in Auburndale.  Address is 1436 Berkley Road, Auburndale, F33823.
