Obituary of Wanda Nell Riley

Mrs. Wanda Nell Riley, age 71 a resident of Auburndale passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mrs. Riley was born June 28, 1950 in Avon Park, Florida to Coleman and Elvira (Williams) Shouppe. She was a Polk County resident since the 1960’s coming from Avon Park. Wanda graduated from Winter Haven High School, a homemaker and attended Sonrise Christian Church in Lakeland. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister – Linda and grandson – Brian Jr.; Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years – Edward Riley of Auburndale; son – Brian Riley of Auburndale; daughter – Shannon Benton of Auburndale; 2 sisters – Sandra Faye Landont of Mulberry and Deborah “Dee Dee” Patterson of Sebring; 2 grandchildren – Meghan and Catilyn and 3 great grandchildren – Liam, Caleb & Bradley. A graveside service will be 3:30 pm Thursday, August 5th at Auburndale Memorial Park.
