Obituary of Cynthia Ann Wood

MS. Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Wood, age 56 a resident of Auburndale passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her mother’s home surrounded by family. Ms. Wood was born July 29, 1964 in Lakeland, Florida to Mallie Daugherty and Marilyn (Deas) Roberts. She was a lifetime Polk County resident, attended Lakeland Schools, attended First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale and also Life Church in Auburndale. Cindy was a Manager in the Fast Food Industry. She enjoyed the beach, posting on Instagram, her dogs and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather – Edwin V. Hagen; husband – Billy Joe Wood; paternal & maternal grandparents. Cindy is survived by her loving family, mother – Marilyn Deas; sister – Katrina Roberts; 2 half-brothers – Eddie & Bobby; niece – Katia and nephew – Ronnie all of Auburndale. Visitation will be Monday, June 7th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 8th at Auburndale Memorial Park.
