Obituary of Steve Gregory Wilson

Mr. Steve Gregory Wilson, age 57, a resident of Eagle Lake passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mr. Wilson was born November 10, 1963 in Bartow, Florida to Dewey Lee and Florene (Goodwin) Wilson. Steve was a lifetime Polk County resident and graduated from Winter Haven High School. He attended Berea Baptist Church in Auburndale and was a licensed pilot which he enjoyed flying prop planes. He enjoyed karaoke, casinos and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother – Kelly Brown; 3 sisters – Helen Semen, Genova Pate & Linda Rogers. Steve is survived by his loving family, 3 brothers – Danny (Laurie) Wilson, Jimmy (Suzy) Wilson & Brent Brown; 5 sisters – Reta (Randy) Stead, Donna (Johnny) Smith, Debbie (Billy) Black, Tressie Means & Kathy Thornhill; many nieces, nephews & cousins. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, March 20th at Berea Baptist Church, 1407 Highway 92, Auburndale with visitation beginning at 10am at the church. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Arrangements By Kersey Funeral Home.
