Obituary of Philip Kay Adams

Mr. Philip Kay Adams, age 78 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. Mr. Adams was born May 17, 1942 in Charlotte, Michigan to Donald Lyle and Mildred Marie (Keith) Adams. He was a retired Systems Analyst and Computer Programmer for 30 years. Philip was a United States Air Force Veteran serving from 1960-1964. He and his wife Janice were snowbirds from Michigan until 2017 making Auburndale their permanent home. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Michigan and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers – Edwin & Robert. Philip is survived by his loving family, wife of 32 years – Janice Adams of Auburndale; son – Brandon (Lynnette) Adams of Jackson, Michigan; daughter – Kristi Lippmann of Brooklyn, Michigan; stepson – David (Crystal) Cripe of Charlotte, North Carolina; brother – Larry (Sharon) Adams of Charlotte, Michigan; sister – Sharon (Ardon) Cronk of Mesa, Arizona; 4 grandchildren – Daniel (Krystle), Jake, Travis and Kasandra; 2 step granddaughters – Katherine and Lily; 3 great grandchildren – Asher, Vaeda and Blakely. There are no services scheduled at this time for Mr. Adams. Inurnment in Michigan TBA.
