Obituary of Myra Electa Bucherich

Mrs. Myra Electa Bucherich, age 80 a resident of Auburndale passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her home with family. Mrs. Bucherich was born January 1, 1941 in Winter Haven to Clarence Earl and Ethel (Chapman) Watson. She was a lifetime Polk County resident, graduated from Auburndale High School and retired after 17 years of service with Publix. Myra was a Good Shepherd Hospice volunteer, enjoyed gardening, shopping, traveling, cruising and loved to spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – John S. Bucherich; 2 brothers – Dennis & Perry and sister – Earlene. Myra is survived by her loving family, 2 sons – Robert (Sondra) Stanfield of Auburndale and John (Robin) Stanfield of Winter Haven; 2 daughters – Jean (Charles) Cumbie of Auburndale and Darlene Stanfield of Lakeland; 8 grandchildren – Chris, Ken, Troy, Brent, Kayla, Mackenzie, Jacob & Cole and 11 great grandchildren – Kyle, Summer, Chase, Lanie, Evan, Caleb, Kaine, Jaxon, Brystol, Mia & Nate. Visitation will be Friday, February 26th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 27th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
