Obituary of Sylvia Ann Chapman

Mrs. Sylvia Ann Gilmore Chapman, age 78 a resident of Auburndale passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Lakeland Regional. Mrs. Chapman was born May 21, 1942 in Georgiana, Alabama to Otis and Lottie (Daniels) Gilmore. She was an Auburndale resident since the 1940’s coming from Alabama. She was a retired Customer Service Associate for Wal Mart and a member of Central Assembly of God Church in Auburndale. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Wayne “Walter” Chapman and brother – Mack Gilmore. Sylvia is survived by her 2 sons – Kevan Chapman and Marc Chapman both of Auburndale; 3 brothers – David Gilmore, Sidney Gilmore and Paul Gilmore all of Auburndale; sister – Sandra “Sandy” Fashbaugh of Auburndale; 3 nephews – Rickey Welch, Tim Welch and Eric Fashbaugh all of Auburndale; 4 great nephews – Billy Welch, Alex Welch, Clayton Fashbaugh and Dylan Fashbaugh; 5 great nieces – Ciara Welch, Brittney Pope, Rebbeca Fashbaugh, Destiny Welsh and Abbey Fashbaugh and 1 niece in law – Darlene Shaw. A memorial service will be held at the Central Assembly of God Church, 601 Lemon St., Auburndale. Live streaming of the service will be available. Date will be announced later.
