Obituary of Ruth Jasmine Fowler

Mrs. Ruth Jasmine Fowler, age 90 a resident of Auburndale passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at home with her son at her side. Mrs. Fowler was born April 29, 1930 in Marianna, Florida to Charles Raymond and Ruby Ruth (Maddox) Reynolds. She was an Auburndale resident since 1970 coming from Plymouth, Florida. Ruth was a retired Fruit Grader with Coca Cola Food & Beverage Company. She was a member the Auburndale Eastern Star Chapter 149. Ruth enjoyed watching Western’s on TV, reading, collecting clocks, feeding birds and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – James “J.T.” Thomas Fowler (1996); son – Regal Deran Fowler (1962); daughter – Bobbie June Fowler (1998) and sister – Charlie Ruth Gowan. Ruth is survived by her loving & devoted son – Charles A. Fowler and his wife Sayron of Crestview, Florida; sister – Dixie Mae Barrett of Mobile, Alabama; 5 granddaughters – Lisa, Audrey, Angie, Trendolyn & Tamitha; 12 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations in Mrs. Fowler’s name can be made to the National/Tampa Audubon Society or a Charity of your choice. Graveside service will be held.
