Obituary of Andrew George Hunter

Mr. Andrew George Hunter, age 59 a resident of Lakeland passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at his home. Mr. Hunter was born October 26, 1959 in Winter Haven to George Andrew and Linda Lee (Younker) Hunter. He was a lifetime Polk County resident and attended Auburndale High School. Andrew worked for 30 plus years in the meat processing industry. He enjoyed go cart racing, football, NASCAR and bar b ques with family & friends. He was preceded in death by his father – George Andrew Hunter; stepfather – Cecil Oakes; maternal grandparents – Donald & Agnes Younker and paternal grandparents. Andrew is survived by his loving family; 2 Sons: Eric (Jennifer) Hunter of Winter Haven, Adam (Heather) Hunter of Lakeland, Mother: Linda Oakes of Polk City, Brother: Keith Hunter of Polk City, 2 Sisters: Kimberly (Dale) Holman of Cooksville, TN., Ann Marie Hunter of Lakeland, 2 Nephews:  Daniel (Amy) McCoy of Lakeland, Aaron (Danielle) Holman of Plant City, Niece: Jodi (Robert) Allen of Lakeland, 5 Grandchildren: Landon, Peyton, Blayton, Kayla & Brooklyn.
