Obituary of George James Gainey

George "Steve" James Gainey, age 63, passed away at his home in Auburndale, Florida on June 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Auburndale to George & Tattsie Gainey on November 8, 1954.  George was a lifetime resident of the area where he worked in the Maintenance Department for the Polk County Government for 16 years.  He enjoyed Fishing, Racing and spending time at his home.  He is preceded in death by; his Parents, One Brother & Two Sisters.  George is survived by; his Wife of 21 years: Nina Gainey, Daughter: Jennifer (Timothy) Boulanger of Auburndale, Sisters: Hilda (Bill) Nelson of Auburndale, Mary (Billy) Redden of Paragould, Arkansas, Reba Hart of Auburndale.  Brothers: Joe (Helen) Gainey of Auburndale, Billy (Marilyn) Gainey of Winter Haven, Roy (Brenda) Gainey of Auburndale, Timbo (Donnette) Gainey of Auburndale.  Grandchildren: Cameron Gainey, Daylon Majors, Kaden Majors.
