Mr. Ronald E. Benton, age 70, of St. Petersburg passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 in St. Petersburg, Fl. Mr. Benton was born in Charleston, S.C. to Samuel and Viola Benton. He lived in Florida for the past 8 years. He was a retired plumber with the Charleston Co. School District and loved spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and woodworking. Mr. Benton is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Benton, his daughter, Penny Bork, a son, William L. Horne, 2 sisters, Gloria Pelt and Jacqueline Hilbourn and his grandchildren, Connor, Liam, Coltin, Collin and Bethany.
