Obituary of Bernice I. Stevens

Mrs. Bernice Stevens, age 92 of Winter Haven passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Winter Haven. Mrs. Stevens was born to George and Isabella Swan in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. She was a member of The Winter Haven Worship Center and was retired food service worker with the Polk County School Board. Mrs. Stevens had lived in the Polk County area since 1991 coming from Washington, D. C. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willie Stevens, daughters, Ava Marie Brooks, Janet Kirkpatrick, Shannon Hilliard and Laveda Stevens as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
