Obituary of Dan Owens

Dan grew up in Miami Springs and raised his family. An Alumni of FSU, he worked for 40 years as a food broker starting out with his father at Duncan Owens Company and from 1971-1995 worked with Bonacker & Leigh in Miami and Jacksonville where he became senior vice president. In 1996 he founded a store call "h.o.m." Dan was also in the United States Marine Reserve's in the 1950's. He then retired to Auburdnale in 2002 and was the manager of Beef O' Brady's owned by his son Duncan. He loved every minute there and created a huge extended family. He had a wonderful rich life.
