Obituary of James Marlton Rewis

Mr. James "Jim" M. Rewis, age 80 a lifetime Polk County resident passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Good Shepherd Hospice. Mr. Rewis was born May 16, 1937 in Auburndale to Charlie Milton and Annie Maye (Smith) Rewis. He was a retired supervisor for FMC citrus equipment manufacturing. Jim attended Auburndale High School and Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness in Auburndale. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 9 brothers & sisters. Jim is survived by his loving & devoted family; Wife of 62 Years: Dorothy Meadows Rewis of Auburndale, 2 Sons: Gary (JoLynn) Rewis of Cocoa Beach, Eric Rewis of Cocoa, Daughter: Kathy (William) Ritter of Brownsmills, NJ, 2 Grandsons: Zack (Ashley) Rewis of Lakeland, Billy (Tonna) Ritter of NJ, 4 Step Grandchildren: Hailea, Cami (Justin), Curtis & Jarvis, 3 Gt.
