Obituary of Shirley O. Watford

Mrs. Shirley O. Watford, age 96 a resident of Auburndale passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at her home with family. Mrs. Watford was born July 4, 1921 in Sheffield, Alabama to Edgar F. and Lettie Ann (Hull) Taylor. She was an Auburndale resident for 67 years coming from Dothan, AL. She retired from Adams Packing as a sectionizer/checker after 39 years of service. Shirley was a member of Abundant Life Church of God in Lakeland for 50 years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, canning, gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband - Oscar M. Watford; granddaughter - Deanne Watford Phillips; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Shirley is survived by her loving family; Son: Dewayne Mitchell (Debbie) Watford of Auburndale Brother: Gentry (Jeanette) Taylor of Ashford, AL. Sister: Mildred Deese of Auburndale Grandson: Dyron M. (Stacey) Watford of Windermere 3 Gt. Grandchildren: Tyler (Lindsey) Phillips of Winter Haven Cameron Watford of Windermere Jackson Watford of Windermere 1 Gt. Gt.
