Obituary of Miguel Antonio Quinones Marrero

Mr. Miguel Antonio Quinones Marrero, age 90, a resident of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Florida surrounded by family. Mr. Marrero was born April 21, 1933 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to Juan and Maria America (Marrero) Quinones. He was a resident of Lake Alfred since 2017 coming from Kissimmee, Florida. Miguel retired from General Motors of Puerto Rico after 22 years and also Merck Pharmaceuticals of Puerto Rico after 11 years. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven. He enjoyed reading, history and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife – Dolores Eloisa Medina Lopez. Miguel is survived by his loving family, daughter – Milagros Del Rosario Quinones Medina and husband Hector of Lake Alfred, Florida; son – Miguel Antonio Quinones Medina of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 3 grandchildren – Milagros Monserrate Quinones and husband Erick, Sahkira Olivera Quinones and Ricardo Soto Quinones; 1 great grandson – Alexander. An inurnment will be held in Puerto Rico at a later date.
